A tiny grain of rice
We saw the new baby on Friday. So tiny, yet still the beating of a heart. It was proof enough to me that life begins at conception. The heart is the center of all bodies, you can't survive without one. Even a faulty one, or one that can't love, keeps the host alive and makes them real. Don't let this sentiment confuse you, I am still fully Pro-Choice on the topic of abortion. I believe there are times when it's less cruel than the alternatives. But I saw life in me. Life as small as a tiny grain of rice.....

Baby Blessing
My husband and I found out this week that we finally conceived our second child after a very difficult year. Due date should be in November sometime. We couldn't be happier. Sierra is very excited to be a big sister and insists this baby will be a girl, Everleigh. She got to call Nana and Papa today on the webcam and tell them the good news. She said "Guess what's in mama's belly? It's a little tiny baby!" Nana and Papa were just as happy as we all are.
It's funny, when you are trying and timing, and measuring, and temperaturing ;) you forget how wonderful it really is to be surprised. Once we forgot all about "trying" to time everything perfectly, this miracle ws given to us. I'm so excited for the next 9 months! Look for more details next week after the first OB appt.
